Daughter of the sun ?
No , you are the sun's life , his soul
We praise you in the sun.
the sun is the body , you are its life- spark
when were you born ,O Light ?
Who made you ?
O Light , who are you ?
What is your nature ?
Are you wisdom's daughter ? But Wisdom sleeps.
Perhaps you are its clarity .
Perhaps you are the from of knowledge .
O Light , for how long have you befriended the sky ?
And wherefore this love of it ?
How do you completely merge in it ?
She who made you all is a magician
She is enchanter, the bewitcher,
We praise her,
Prosper O Light.
हे प्रकाश, तुम कौन हो?
सूरज की बेटी?
नहीं, तुम सूरज की जान हो, उसकी आत्मा हो
हम धूप में आपकी स्तुति करते हैं।
सूर्य शरीर है, तुम उसके प्राण हो- चिंगारी
हे प्रकाश, तुम कब पैदा हुए थे?
आपको किसने बनाया ?
हे प्रकाश, तुम कौन हो?
आपका स्वभाव क्या है?
क्या आप ज्ञान की बेटी हैं? लेकिन बुद्धि सोती है।
शायद आप इसकी स्पष्टता हैं।
शायद आप ज्ञान हैं।
हे प्रकाश, तुमने कब से आकाश से मित्रता की है?
और यह प्यार क्यों ?
आप इसमें पूरी तरह से कैसे विलीन हो जाते हैं?
जिसने तुम सबको बनाया वह जादूगर है
वह जादूगार है, मोहक है,
हम उसकी तारीफ करते हैं,
हे प्रकाश ,हम कृतार्थ हुए |

soul- spirit of a person ( व्यक्ति की आत्मा)
praise - to express admieation (प्रशंसा व्यक्त करने के लिए)
Wisdom - बुद्धिमत्ता
Perhaps - शायद
life spark - life giving light (जीवन देने वाली रोशनी)
clarity - the quality of being expressed clearly (स्पष्ट रूप से व्यक्त किए जाने की गुणवत्ता)
befriended - दोस्ती
merge - combine (जोड़ना)
enchanter- जादूगार
bewitcher - one who puts a magic spell (जो जादू कर देता है)
prosper - to be successful (सफल होने के लिए)
Summary:-
The "light" in this poem signifies something more than a mere physical phenomenon. While, in fact, it is the Sun that is the source of light, the poem reverses the situation and accepts "light" as the source of the Sun's life, that is, the soul of the Sun. Taking more of the symbolism, 'light' stands for 'knowledge' and 'knowledge', without which human knowledge or intelligence remains either inactive or in a state of confusion. Mother Nature is revered as a magician for creating wondrous 'light'. In the end the poem wishes for the prosperity of 'Prakash'. This call would suggest that 'light' should remove darkness not only in the physical sense but also in the spiritual sense of neglect.
